Sion Trefor is a composer, performer and producer based in the UK, where he runs a full-service production and recording studio in Cardiff. One of the foremost composers in Wales, Sion is renowned as a virtuoso pianist, concert-level multi-instrumentalist and producer, a one man powerhouse of composition, performance and production in all idioms from classical to cutting edge electronica.

A prolific studio composer and internationally touring musician, Sion’s debut EP “Fallout”, released under his own name, puts him center stage as a virtuoso post-classical solo performer. Sion is currently finalizing his first full length LP titled “America, A Bird in the House”, an integrated audiovisual experience featuring collaborations with visual artists across Europe and American soprano D’Andrea Pelletier.

Sion has composed for major clients like Netflix, BBC, Google, Rolex, Aston Martin, Comedy Central, Saatchi & Saatchi and many others. He has just wrapped up his score for two productions by the British Film Institute, and has been confirmed for an upcoming 6-part series produced by Sky for a global release in 2022.
