"The Must-Watch Political Thriller of 2024" - Time Magazine

We are very proud to present CAPISAYO, the first Chicago solo exhibition by Mexican artist Beatriz Morales. Working in and with van der Rohe’s iconic building, Morales presents textile and fifiber art works, some floating freely, some on canvases, both in the house itself as well as in the adjacent visitor center Gallery. The exhibition is curated by Esenija Bannan.

For her solo exhibition ROOTS AND RESONANCE at Kunstverein Dresden, Beatriz Morales converted the Kunstverein’s exhibition space into an immersive landscape, suffused by a sonic installation by Sion Trefor. Following the 2022 exhibition WHERE THE WILD THINGS GROW in Hamburg, Germany (Circle Culture / Barlach Halle K), ROOTS AND RESONANCE marks the second collaboration between Beatriz Morales and Sion Trefor. The exhibition is curated by Esenija Bannan.

Following a presentation hosted by Zombori Art Media (Berlin) and Arróniz Gallery (Mexico City) and at Positions Art Fair in Berlin, Mercedes Benz Collection acquired 5 works by Emilio Chapela.

Praxis and Zombori Art Media are pleased to present Unbound, a solo exhibition by the Mexican artist Beatriz Morales curated by Esenija Bannan. The show will be open from Thursday, May 9 to Saturday, July 6, 2024.

We are pleased to announce Beatriz Morales’ participation at Zona Maco 2024, the largest and most important art fair in Mexico City. Beatriz is represented at the fair by Praxis Gallery, based in new York and Buenos Aires.

ARTE visited Beatriz Morales and Emilio Chapela in their studios for an impressive portrait on their respective practices. The feature, which centers on the idea of sustainability in art, also includes an interview with Benjamin Zombori.

Beatriz Morales exhibits her agave fibre installation work Ts’ul at the group exhibition "Tan Lejos, Tan Cerca”, also featuring work by Julieta Aranda, Luis Carrera-Maul, Mariana Castillo Deball, Emilio Chapela, Sandra Contreras & Anselmo Fox, Beatriz Morales, Naomi Rincón Gallardo, Gabriel Rossell Santillán.

We are extremely proud to highlight Beatriz Morales´ participation in this group show at museum Frieder Burda in Baden-Baden (Germany), curated by Udo Kittelmann.

“Jackdaw”, directed by Mac Nixon and scored by Sion Trefor was nominated for a BAFTA Wales in the category Best Short.

The third issue of "Die Kunst - Women in Art” is out now in stores across Germany as the special art supplement of Capital Magazine. Die Kunst is produced for the full print run of Capital, with 130.000+ copies in circulation, and a reach of more than 800.000.
